Living Dead in Dallas is the second book in the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. The audiobook version of the novel is narrated by Johanna Parker and was released in 2002. The book follows the story of Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress, as she gets involved in the world of vampires and supernatural beings.

The story begins with Sookie receiving a call from Eric Northman, the vampire sheriff of Area 5, asking her to use her telepathic abilities to help him find a missing vampire. Sookie agrees to help and soon finds herself in the middle of a dangerous situation.
