Falling Away is the third book in the Fall Away series by Penelope Douglas. The audiobook is narrated by Abby Craden and Nelson Hobbs. The story follows the lives of two high school students, Jaxon Trent and KC Carter, who have been friends since childhood. However, their friendship is put to the test when they start to develop feelings for each other.

The story is set in the small town of Shelburne Falls, where Jaxon and KC have grown up together. Jaxon is the popular jock who is loved by everyone, while KC is the quiet and reserved girl who keeps to herself. Despite their differences, they have always been there for each other, and their friendship has never wavered.

However, things start to change when Jaxon begins to see KC in a different light. He starts to notice her beauty and intelligence, and he can’t help but be drawn to her. KC, on the other hand, is hesitant to pursue a relationship with Jaxon. She is afraid that it will ruin their friendship, and she doesn’t want to risk losing him.

As the story progresses, Jaxon and KC’s relationship becomes more complicated. They both struggle with their feelings for each other, and they are unsure of how to proceed. Jaxon is torn between his love for KC and his loyalty to his friends, who don’t approve of their relationship. KC, on the other hand, is afraid of being hurt and is unsure if she can trust Jaxon.

The audiobook is narrated by Abby Craden and Nelson Hobbs, who do an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. Craden’s narration of KC is particularly impressive, as she captures the character’s shyness and vulnerability perfectly. Hobbs, on the other hand, does an excellent job of portraying Jaxon’s cocky and confident personality.

One of the things that I enjoyed about the audiobook was the way that the story was told from both Jaxon and KC’s perspectives. This allowed me to get a better understanding of their thoughts and feelings, and it made the story more engaging. I also appreciated the way that the author tackled some difficult topics, such as bullying and sexual assault. These issues added depth to the story and made it more meaningful.

Overall, Falling Away is an excellent audiobook that is well worth listening to. The story is engaging, the characters are well-developed, and the narration is top-notch. If you are a fan of young adult romance, then I highly recommend giving this audiobook a listen.
