The story begins with Cole returning to Royal Hearts Academy after being expelled for a year. He is determined to take back his place as the king of the school and to prove to everyone that he is still the same ruthless guy they all know. However, things don’t go as planned when he meets Sawyer, a girl who is not impressed by his reputation and is not afraid to stand up to him.

Sawyer is a girl who has been through a lot in her life. She has a troubled past and is not interested in getting involved with someone like Cole. However, Cole is persistent and is determined to win her over. He starts to show her a different side of himself, a side that no one has ever seen before. He is kind, caring, and protective of her.

As the story progresses, we see Cole and Sawyer’s relationship grow. They start to develop feelings for each other, but their pasts keep getting in the way. Cole’s family is not happy with his relationship with Sawyer, and they will do anything to keep them apart. Sawyer’s past also comes back to haunt her, and she is forced to confront her demons.

The audiobook is narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin, who do an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. Teddy Hamilton’s voice perfectly captures Cole’s arrogance and ruthlessness, while Vanessa Edwin’s voice brings out Sawyer’s vulnerability and strength.

The story is well-written, and the characters are well-developed. Ashley Jade does an excellent job of showing the growth of Cole and Sawyer’s relationship. She also does a great job of showing the struggles that they face as they try to overcome their pasts.
