The story of Wolves of the Calla picks up where the previous book, Wizard and Glass, left off. They are actually robots, sent by a group of mysterious beings known as the “Low Men.” The Low Men are trying to use the children of Calla Bryn Sturgis to create an army of soldiers for their own purposes.
