The story begins with Aria being kidnapped by the New York Mafia. Luca is tasked with keeping her safe until her father pays the ransom. Aria is a strong-willed woman who is not afraid to speak her mind. She is also fiercely independent and does not like being told what to do. Luca, on the other hand, is a man who is used to getting what he wants. He is a ruthless killer who has no qualms about taking out anyone who gets in his way.
As the story progresses, Aria and Luca begin to develop feelings for each other. However, their love is forbidden as they come from rival mafia families. Aria’s father would never allow her to be with Luca, and Luca’s father would never allow him to be with Aria. Despite the obstacles, Aria and Luca cannot resist their attraction to each other.
The audiobook is narrated by Tim Paige and Emma Galvin. They both do an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. Tim Paige’s deep voice is perfect for Luca’s character, while Emma Galvin’s voice is perfect for Aria’s character. They both do an excellent job of conveying the emotions of the characters.
The story is well-written and keeps the listener engaged from beginning to end. The author does an excellent job of creating tension between the two main characters. The chemistry between Aria and Luca is palpable, and the listener can feel the tension between them.
The audiobook is also well-paced. The story moves along at a good pace, and there are no dull moments. The author does an excellent job of balancing the action with the romance. The action scenes are well-written and keep the listener on the edge of their seat.
One of the things that I liked about the audiobook is the character development. The author does an excellent job of developing the characters throughout the story. Aria starts off as a strong-willed woman who is not afraid to speak her mind. However, as the story progresses, she begins to soften towards Luca. Luca, on the other hand, starts off as a ruthless killer who has no qualms about taking out anyone who gets in his way. However, as he falls in love with Aria, he begins to question his loyalty to his family.
Overall, Twisted Hearts is an excellent audiobook. The story is well-written, the characters are well-developed, and the narration is excellent. I would highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who enjoys mafia romance novels.
