Insurgent is the second book in the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth. The audiobook version of Insurgent is narrated by Emma Galvin, who also narrated the first book in the series, Divergent. The audiobook is approximately 11 hours and 22 minutes long and was published by HarperAudio in 2012.

The story of Insurgent picks up right where Divergent left off. Tris Prior, the main character, is still reeling from the events of the previous book. She has just witnessed the death of her parents and her friend Will, and she is struggling to come to terms with the fact that she killed her friend, who had been under the influence of a mind-control serum. Tris is also dealing with the guilt of having betrayed her faction, Dauntless, by helping the Erudite faction carry out a plan to take over the city.

As the story progresses, Tris and her boyfriend, Four, find themselves on the run from the Erudite and the factionless, who are now in control of the city. They seek refuge with the Amity faction, but their stay is short-lived as they are soon discovered by the Erudite and forced to flee once again. Tris and Four then seek out the Factionless, hoping to find allies in their fight against the Erudite.

Throughout the book, Tris struggles with her own identity and her place in the world. She questions whether she is truly selfless, as she had believed herself to be, or if she is just as selfish as everyone else. She also grapples with the idea of sacrifice and whether it is worth it to risk everything for a cause.

The audiobook version of Insurgent is a great way to experience the story. Emma Galvin does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life and conveying the emotions of the story. Her voice is clear and easy to understand, and she does a great job of differentiating between the different characters.

One of the benefits of listening to the audiobook version of Insurgent is that it allows the listener to fully immerse themselves in the story. The audiobook allows the listener to experience the story in a way that is different from reading the book. The listener can close their eyes and imagine themselves in the world of the book, hearing the characters’ voices and feeling their emotions.

Another benefit of the audiobook version of Insurgent is that it allows the listener to multitask while still enjoying the story. The listener can listen to the audiobook while driving, doing chores, or exercising. This makes it easy to fit the book into a busy schedule.

Overall, the audiobook version of Insurgent is a great way to experience the story.
